Beth and Forrest: How To Celebrate A Wedding

Moab

“May your adventures bring you closer together, even as they take you far away from home.”― Trenton Lee Stewart, The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey

Beth and Forrest Celebrate Their Wedding at Hell’s Revenge

Is there a more appropriate way to spend the day after your wedding than crawling a slickrock trail through the Utah desert in a Jeep?  Heck no.  Not if you are as bad ass as Beth and Forrest.

Moab

On Sunday, everyone was invited to ride the legendary Hell’s Revenge jeep trail in Moab (especially if they had a 4WD), with Forrest leading the way.  These are the brave souls who showed up, and this is the story of the day.  And for all of you who may be thinking this looks dangerous, well, it is.  However, our fearless leader (Forrest) actually did this professionally for a while, and while that’s not much of an endorsement these days, I will tell you that Forrest is One Smart Guy.  He’s the kind of guy you want to be around when the zombies come.

Bride

And naturally, there is no better way to end a day of rock crawling than with a little light rock climbing.  Can you find the bride in the photo above?  Hint:  She’s not on the ground.

So that’s part two.  Stay tuned for the Grande Finale in Canyonlands National Park.  You really really don’t want to miss it.
