“Meet me in outerspace
We could spend the night, watch the earth come up
I’ve grown tired of that place, wont you come with me
We could start again
How do you do it, make me feel like I do
How do you do it, it’s better than I ever knew” – from Stellar by Incubus
Today I’d like to re-introduce you to Madeline and Casey. It’s a reintroduction because you already met Madeline last year when she was the maid of honor in Janet and Andrew’s beautiful garden wedding in Boston (Hey Janet and Andrew!). After meeting Madeline last year, I already knew that she was pretty amazing (and had stunning eyes!), but any remaining slivers of doubt were vaporized like a gnat in a phaser-beam when we were making their post-wedding newlywed portraits and Casey showed me his Star Trek Enterprise cufflinks and then they asked if they could do the Vulcan salute for their ring shot. Ehrmergerd, I love this couple! Other awesome things to notice are the wreath of flowers Madeline wore in her hair, and the adoring smile on Casey’s face as Madeline walks up the aisle with her parents at the beginning of their ceremony.
And now, have a look at their video and check out even more of their very beautiful day.
And that is how two mega-amazing people named Madeline and Casey have a super fun, very romantic, and ever-so-slightly geeky wedding. Not only do Madeline and Casey have a knack for walking the very fine line between traditional elegance and total geekdom, but they have the biggest hearts ever and it’s a wonderful thing that they found each other. Thanks so much to Madeline and Casey and your families and friends for having me be a part of your wonderful wedding. I wish you much love and happiness together, and plenty of sci-fi joy too.
