Katie and Steven | Gorgeous Spring Wedding at Reynold’s Lake Oconee

reynold's plantation wedding on lake oconee-1

“We were together. I forget the rest.” ― Walt Whitman

Today I want to tell you the story of how Katie and Steven tied the knot and brought spring to the south.  That happy couple in the photo above is Katie and Steven, and you met them once already when they made some pretty cool engagement photos on The Atlanta Beltline.  For their wedding, they traveled to Greensboro, Georgia to the always beautiful Lake Oconee , where they had their ceremony at The Lake Club at Reynold’s Lake Oconee.  Their ceremony was very touching, and there may have been a couple of tears shed by a few folks.  But their party, that was rockin’.  Take a look.

And that is how Katie married Steven and brought an end to the terrible grip of winter on Georgia.  At least that’s how I’m going to always remember their wedding day.  People were happy, plants were blooming, temperatures were above freezing… finally.  Thank you Katie and Steven for choosing to have me be a part of your beautiful story.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know you both over the last few months, and I wish you many more beautiful springs and lots of years of happiness.
