Mt. Hood Waterfall Wedding | Maddie and Mo

Today I want to tell you the story of Maddie and Mo’s perfect destination wedding deep in the gorgeous Mt. Hood National Forest. Like many folks this year, Maddie and Mo had to make a few compromises with their wedding planning. After all, no one dreams of getting married in a pandemic. Yet nothing about their day felt compromised. Instead, it was an amazing day filled with love and laughter and a generous amount of glorious sunshine. When I asked them how they decided to get married at a waterfall in the wilderness, Maddie told me,

“We knew that we wanted our wedding to be outside.  Mo sent a photo of a waterfall and “wrote” on the photo that they wanted to get married at the bottom of the waterfall… as a joke.  But as is the case with a lot of goofy stuff that Maddie and Mo end up doing, the joke became reality.

So here we are, getting married at a waterfall, during a pandemic.  I am not sure that there is a lot of people who can say this of their weddings! “

In life, we’re given a handful of perfect days, and this was one of them. There is so much love here. Congratulations Maddie and Mo.
