Today I’d like to introduce you to Courtney and Heather, and their adorable rescue pup Finn. One of the best perks of my job is how many awesome dogs I get to pet. Finn has some anxiety, like a lot of rescue pets, but he let me get a couple of chin scratches in, and that alone was worth the drive to Vermont. The other thing that made the trip super awesome was finally getting to meet Courtney and Heather in person. They’re getting married later this year, so we spent the afternoon visiting some of their favorite places. They love to hike and explore, and live near some really gorgeous mountain trails which made an amazing backdrop for some snuggly engagement photos.
Despite the off and on rain all afternoon, their spirits were high. The rain made the colors of the forest more vibrant and the waterfall even more dramatic. We had a fantastic time exploring together. Nothing makes an adventure better than the right partner, and it’s really clear that these two are a perfect match for adventure. It’s always wonderful to spend an afternoon in the company of people who make each other so happy. Their enthusiasm and warmth was infectious.
Congratulations Courtney and Heather! I can’t wait to see you again in the summer at your wedding!
