Today I want to tell you the story of Bruna and Danielle and their perfect wedding day. When I asked them to tell me how they met, they told me, “Danielle is a writer, and Bruna read something she wrote (and apparently liked it enough to contact her) on a random Friday in March. Because Bruna was traveling to NYC that weekend, she told Danielle she’d tell her how much she liked Danielle’s story after her trip. She didn’t! A whole week later, on March 27, 2015, Bruna reached out to Danielle again (she just HAD to talk to her somehow), and it was love at first chat. Between countless text messages and phone calls, they said “I love you” four days after and have been saying it every day since.”
That was seven and a half years ago. And after a couple of tries and a pandemic, they finally had their wedding day. And it could not have been a more perfect day, with rainy portraits at Historic Oakland Cemetery, and an emotional and moving private ceremony at home. Congratulations Bruna and Danielle!
