Long Island Wedding Photos | Danielle and Kathy

Today we’re headed north to Long Island to Danielle and Kathy’s gorgeous fall wedding at The Refuge in Melville. When I’m at a wedding, the most literal definition of what I’m doing is that I’m taking photos. But it’s really so much more than that. I’m watching and observing. I’m looking for cues to what’s going to happen next. I’m trying to be aware of how each person is feeling. And I’m using all of that info to tell the story of the day through images. So, what I hope you see here is how Danielle and Kathy could not take their eyes off each other all, that everyone around them just beamed with joy and delight and love for them, and that no one ever has danced as hard at a wedding as this group of amazing folks. And at the end of the night, they all lived happily ever after.
