Oregon Coast Destination Micro Wedding | Heidi and Kat

Today I want to tell you about Heidi and Kat’s magical wedding in a forest on the coast of Oregon. They chose this particular location because it was where they had an experience that symbolized to them how they could work through and endure difficult situations together as a team.

“We are getting married at a trailhead where we camped in December in the pouring rain.  Heidi set up camp while Kat went running.  The wind was blowing all over the place and Heidi managed to make us a dry shelter where Kat finished helping out and made a delish dinner.  We then sat by a fire under the shelter and we will never get the smoke out of all of our clothes from those few nights.  The dogs had never been dirtier.  We had never been wetter and more ragged getting camp set up, but because of Heidi’s hard work, we had a dry tent where we could hang wet clothes to dry with our super warm propane heater. Where we were cozy and comfy.  A place where we demonstrated our ability to work together and laugh through challenges.”

There aren’t words to describe to you how amazing this couple is, or how beautiful and perfect their day was. So I’m just going to show you a hundred photos and let you see for yourself.

Congratulations Heidi and Kat! Thank you for having me be a part of your magical day.
