Today I want to tell you the story of JP and Mica’s gorgeous oceanside wedding at Camp Hero park in Montauk on the very end of Long Island. A neat little factoid is that Camp Hero park inspired your favorite spooky sci-fi series Stranger Things. However, no demogorgons were spotted this weekend. Instead, there was lots of sunshine, laughter, tears, laughter, dancing and joy. JP and Mica met ten years ago in college, and they have that wonderful easiness of being together that couples develop after seeing each other through many ups and downs. As you look through the photos, be sure to take a moment and appreciate their jewelry. They told me, “Mica worked with a jeweler that makes ocean-themed jewelry on Long Island to make her and JP matching engagement rings. Each gold ring was cast from a mold made of barnacles, and there are sapphires (JP’s birthstone) in the barnacles on the ring. Mica and JP have spent many days together at beaches and oceans around the world. Barnacles seemed perfect for a ring for the two of them because barnacles stick together, they have for the past 10+ years.” Congratulations JP and Mica!
