Today I want to tell you the story of how Jessa and Zoe were married on a perfect fall afternoon in the most beautiful ceremony ever written at Hidden Creek Estates in Roscoe, Illinois.

Jessa and Zoe’s love story began with a simple Hinge message at the start of the 2020 lockdown. Their first dates were virtual coffee chats, online theater nights, and—when things began opening up—socially distanced walks along the Chicago Lakefront. Their first kiss happened under a bare tree near Lincoln Park Zoo that summer. That fall, Jessa rescued a kitten, Miphy, but couldn’t keep her in her apartment. So, Zoe stepped in as Miphy’s foster until Jessa found a new place. Eventually, Jessa moved in with both Zoe and Miphy.

Two years later, Jessa proposed to Zoe under that same tree where they’d first kissed.

And two years after Zoe said yes, we found ourselves gathered together on a sunny afternoon to witness them join their lives together in a touching ceremony that left no eye dry. After that, the celebration began. Toasts and cake, laughter and more tears, and dancing the night away. It was a perfect day.

Congratulations Jessa and Zoe.
