Today, I’m excited to share Emily and Mike’s elegant wedding day at the historic Wimbish House in Midtown.
There’s something about arriving at the Wimbish House that feels like stepping back in time. Built in the early 1900s, this stunning venue is full of old-world charm, from its grand staircase to the high ceilings and intricate architectural details that make it such a perfect spot for an unforgettable celebration.
Emily and Mike’s wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and intimacy, with every moment feeling meaningful and connected. Emily was radiant as she came down the ballroom staircase and down the aisle to meet Mike, who was waiting for her at the altar on the stage under the soft light of the chandeliers.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails upstairs in the front room and outside on the veranda before heading back down to the ballroom for a reception that was both lively and cozy. Each table had beautiful blue hydrangeas and white roses by Urban Blooms Atlanta, surrounded by candlelight that created a welcoming glow as friends and family toasted to the newlyweds.
Photographing Emily and Mike’s wedding at the Wimbish House was such an honor. The combination of the venue’s historic character, the couple’s timeless style, and all the special touches made it a day I won’t forget. Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness for Emily and Mike!
