Today I’d like to introduce you to Caity and Erica, who are getting married later this year. One of the things I like to convince couples to do is to make their engagement photos in the winter. Even though all the leaves have fallen from the trees and the world seems dreary, without all the leaves to block it, the sunlight is more golden and rich in the winter. You’ll have to get out there earlier in the day to make photos, since the sun sets right after lunch, but you’ll get the most gorgeous light of the year. It gets even better if there’s a little snow to reflect the light. So you can imagine how excited I was when Caity and Erica said they wanted to make photos in the snow. And then they went all in and planned an adventure filled afternoon with a campfire and s’mores, snowshoeing, and sunset snuggles in a gorgeous Pendleton blanket. It doesn’t get much better than this. Congratulations Caity and Erica! I’m super excited to see you again in the fall.
