Jekyll Island Club Wedding | Katie and Matt

“Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you. Whatever it takes or how my heart breaks, I will be right here waiting for you.”  -Waiting For You, by Richard Marx

Most of the time we tend to think of thunderstorms as something we don’t like.  They’re big and loud and a bit dangerous.  They interfere with the things we want to do, like having a wedding, for instance.  But the thing about thunderstorms is that they usually lead to spectacular sunsets.  And that’s what happened on Katie and Matt’s wedding day at the historic Jekyll Island Club in south Georgia.  The morning started off sunny and warm, but afternoon thunderstorms rolled in and they reluctantly decided to move the ceremony inside.  But even though there were stormy skies and thunder, nothing could make this day any less than amazing for Katie and Matt and their families and friends.  There was an abundance of happy, and possibly even some giddy present everywhere you went.  Everyone also brought out their best moves and nearly melted the dance floor.  And somewhere in the middle of all that excitement, an amazing sunset quietly ended the day with a cosmic blessing for the newly married team of Katie and Matt.  Also, if Katie and Matt look a little familiar, you probably saw their laughter filled engagement photos at Callaway Gardens in southwestern Georgia earlier in the summer.

They immortalize the people you love and the history you're making.

They are time machines. And I'm here to build them with you.
