Missoula Montana Backyard Wedding | Katie and Mike

“We’ll hold on my darling, this mess was yours, now your mess is mine.” – Vance Joy

Today I am so very excited to introduce you to my favorite people in Montana, Katie and Mike. They met six years ago in New Hampshire at a summer camp event. Two years of long distance dating and a visit to stunning Montana convinced Katie to boldly move across the country to be closer to Mike. Clearly it was a pretty darn good decision. A few years later, after having an oddly adult and rational discussion over brunch one morning, they came to the conclusion that it was time to take the next step. So a few weeks later, under the very tree where you’ll see them have their first look in the photos below, Mike formally proposed to Katie. She said yes, and the rest is history. And that, internet friends, is how this incredible wedding with wonderful people and laughter and amazing food and dogs and tents and outdoor dance floors and epic facial hair came to happen.
