Today’s blog post is an ode to why I love my job. It’s also about Colleen and Greg. They’re getting married next spring in Setauket, NY, so we met up at their church in the late afternoon last week and they took me on an amazing tour of beautiful sleepy Setauket. If you’ve never been to Setauket, you’re really missing out. It’s a gorgeous little old town on Long Island with historic homes and great shops and restaurants. It’s Greg’s hometown, so he gave us a special tour, the details of which I’m not at liberty to divulge. Colleen and Greg have an amazing connection, and it really shows in the photos. Spending the afternoon with them, watching them practically glow when they look at each other, laughing about Simon Cat videos, made me fall in love with my job all over again. It’s a dream come true to be a part of the lives of so many amazing people and help them tell their stories. Thanks for a perfect afternoon and evening Colleen and Greg! I can’t wait for your wedding next spring!
