Stacia Asks Andrea To Marry Her In Morning Glory Canyon In Moab, Utah
So now we’re going to travel forward in time a little bit. This morning I showed you my first stop in Mississippi (M-I-crooked letter…), but this set of photos is from closer to the end of my trip. However, since these guys are probably dying to see their photos, I thought it might be fair to play around with the timeline a little bit. It’s kind of like one of those bizarre time travel episodes on Star Trek, except nobody’s going to disappear from existence at the end of the blog post. (I guess.)
This is Stacia. Does she look a little nervous to you? A couple of months ago, I got an email from Stacia explaining her plan to me. You see, Stacia is friends with Beth, who you will meet in a minute, and whose wedding I was scheduled to photograph in Moab. Stacia was planning to surprise her partner Andrea with a proposal in Moab after Beth’s wedding, and she wanted me to photograph the momentous occasion of her actually surprising Andrea. Apparently, this is hard to do because Andrea is verrrry smart (totally true… she’s very smart). So the plan was that we would all go for a hike in this gorgeous canyon, and at a certain point, Beth would disappear and, well… the magic moment would happen. So here’s how it went.
And that’s Beth with the champagne in her backpack. And cups too. ‘Cause shes smooth like that.
And that, interwebbers, is the story of how Stacia totally surprised Andrea with a wedding proposal on their trip to Moab, Utah. Oh yeah, Andrea said yes.
