“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” – Howard Thurman
Today I’d like to introduce you to Margie and Kyle. Guess what? They’re getting married, and these are their Asheville North Carolina Engagement Photos.
They met in Lebanon while trying to help with the Syrian refugee crisis. He’s a water and sanitation engineer, and she’s a grant writer. There are only a few people that I meet these days who have jobs that I think are as neat as mine, and Margie and Kyle certainly qualify. They courted while traveling through Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, England, and Thailand together, and got engaged in Greece. Right now, they are in the US visiting Margie’s parents in beautiful western North Carolina, where they will stay long enough to have their wedding and enjoy the holidays. After that, they’ll be off on another adventure. But for now, engagement photos.
After conferring with Margie for a bit, we decided to spend the day exploring the Maggie Valley area around Cherokee and the Blue Ridge Parkway. So we hopped in the car and spent an afternoon making photos in the beautiful winter sunshine. Don’t be fooled, though. Both Margie and Kyle deserve academy awards for not looking like popsicles in any of these photos, because it was dark cold out. Just the same, it was an amazing day for Asheville North Carolina engagement photos. Take a look.
