Today, I’m excited to share Emily and Mike’s elegant wedding day at Atlanta’s historic Wimbish House in Midtown.
There’s something about arriving at the Wimbish House that feels like stepping back in time. Built in the early 1900s, this stunning venue is full of old-world charm, from its grand staircase to the high ceilings and intricate architectural details that make it such a perfect spot for an unforgettable celebration.
Emily and Mike’s wedding was an incredible mix of elegance and intimacy, with every moment feeling meaningful and connected. Emily looked radiant coming down the staircase to meet Mike, who was glowing with pride and love as he waited under the soft light of the chandeliers. The space felt so timeless, especially with the ballroom’s tall windows casting dreamy light across the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the sunroom and outside on the veranda before heading back into the ballroom for a reception that was both lively and cozy. Each table had beautiful blue hydrangeas and white roses by Urban Blooms Atlanta, surrounded by candlelight that created a welcoming glow as friends and family toasted to the newlyweds.
Photographing Emily and Mike’s wedding at the Wimbish House was such an honor. The combination of the venue’s historic character, the couple’s timeless style, and all the special touches made it a day I won’t forget. Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness for Emily and Mike!
