Today we travel to northern Ohio to The Mohicans Treehouse Resort to celebrate the wedding of Sheri and Jacob on a chilly fall day. Sheri and Jacob actually met in 2011 and dated briefly, but life happened and took them on different paths for a little while. A few years later, Sheri had a dream about Jacob and texted him. This time, it was the right time for them and she eventually moved from Maryland to Ohio to be near him. They took things slow and built their relationship carefully and intentionally. When you spend a little time with them their strong bond is clear. They are supportive and protective of each other, and they are such a team that they even decided to get ready together, which is such a beautiful way to start your wedding day.
After they were ready, we took advantage of the perfect golden afternoon sunlight to make some portraits before the cold chased us all inside to recover for the ceremony. After their tender ceremony, it was time to celebrate with toasts and dancing and more dancing. It was a perfect day.
