Today I’d like to introduce a brand new human to you. This is Katie and Steven and their newest family member, baby Sarah. About five years ago, I photographed Katie and Steven’s wedding on a beautiful rainy afternoon on the shores of Lake Oconee. Married life has obviously been wonderful to them. They have a beautiful home in an awesome somewhat secret location near town, with a gorgeous garden full of hydrangeas. On the morning I came to visit just a few days after Sarah was born, it was a little rainy outside and so we spent a little extra time making photos in Katie’s family heirloom rocking chair by the window. The light was so amazing by the window and we ended up with a beautiful series of images, especially the black and white ones. You know how I am about black and white photos anyway, but really these are something special. And so congratulations Katie and Steven, and welcome Sarah. It’s nice to have you here with us.
