Today I want to tell you about Jodi and Andrew’s beautiful fall afternoon wedding at Magnolia Hall in Atlanta’s historic Piedmont Park. This wedding was a long time in the making. Eighteen years ago they met just a few blocks from Piedmont Park when a mutual friend introduced them. They dated briefly, and then life happened the way it does and they went their separate ways for a little while. Eventually, a few cities, countries, jobs, and lives later, the time was right and they were ready. After dating a little while “Andrew made it clear that he was ready when Jodi was. She proposed in Andrew’s parent’s back yard (in the woods) on Andrew’s birthday with a candy ring. There were tears.” And that’s how we all found ourselves in Piedmont Park on a warm sunny afternoon wearing fancy clothes and giant smiles. One of my favorite things about hanging out with Jodi and Andrew is how comfortable and playful they are together. They’re a lot fun to be around and they just make sense together. Congratulations Jodi and Andrew!
