Today I’d like to introduce you to the magical and wildly talented Brittney Taylor of Brittney Taylor Beauty. After months of internet chats, I had the pleasure of meeting Brittney in person at the {un}convention conference hosted by Catalyst Wedding Co. in Richmond, Virginia, a much needed wedding conference for progressive professionals in the wedding industry. Brittney is one of those people that you meet and you immediately see that she’s going to be a star one day. She has that ‘it factor’. People flock to her. They are drawn to her. But that’s not what I find most interesting or compelling about her. The thing that I love most about Brittney is her brain. She is easily one of the most intelligent people I know, and that’s saying a lot if you’ve met my wife. Listening to her talk about equality and inclusion in the wedding industry, it’s clear that she’s speaking from a place of having spent many hours working out her thoughts and conclusions. She’s not just parroting whatever popular opinion is making the rounds on social media. In fact, she will fearlessly tear apart a faulty idea, no matter how popular it may be. She’s brave and uncompromising in her beliefs and her search for truth and justice, and the world needs more people like her. In fact, I’m unashamedly trying to be more like her. You should too.
