Blair and Jo: An Intimate Family Wedding
Today I want to introduce you to a special couple whose wedding I photographed recently; Blair and Jo, a couple who live near Atlanta, Georgia. Blair and Jo had a beautiful sunset wedding ceremony just outside Atlanta alongside the wild Savannah River with their closest family and friends in attendance. Their quietly religious ceremony was meaningful and personal, and brought a tear to more than a few eyes. Because they understood that they were making a commitment to creating a new family that included their existing families, they included vows to Jo’s teenage son as part of the ceremony.
After the ceremony was complete, and they were wife and wife, it was time for everyone to eat and drink and be merry. There were songs sung and dances danced and cupcakes … um… eaten. Toward the end of the evening, there was a brief moment of panic when they thought the champagne was gone, but it was just misplaced, and everything carried on merrily.
So that was Blair and Jo’s perfect intimate family wedding. I want to thank Blair and Jo for having me be a part of such a special day. It was a great evening for everyone, and I’m honored to have been part of your beautiful day.
