The Story of Trisha and Scott and Their Destination Beach Wedding in St. Lucia
Today I want to introduce you to Trisha and Scott and tell you the story of their destination beach wedding in the Caribbean on the beautiful island of St. Lucia. Trisha and Scott are from the always balmy Province of British Columbia, so you can understand why they would choose a destination beach wedding in the Caribbean. Truth is, these two are very well traveled. In fact, their entire relationship has been about travel, and they had many great adventure stories to share. (Few people have seen as many hotel rooms as I have, but these guys are close.) And to make their destination wedding even more awesome, they had quite a large number of family and friends make the trip to the Caribbean for their big day. They chose the spectacular Sugar Beach Resort (formerly known as Jalousie Plantation) for their wedding, which is a resort built on a former sugar plantation right between the iconic Pitons. (If the Pitons look familiar to you, it’s because they’ve been featured in a few big blockbuster films over the years.) To make this wedding even more amazing (as if that’s possible!), they scheduled their beach ceremony on 12-12-12 at 12:12pm. And check out Trisha’s bouquet. That is indeed a GoPro camera in her bridal bouquet. That’s right. These two are wicked cool. And after willing away the rain, they had a beautiful ceremony on the beach between the Pitons. After making a few photos and enjoying some hors d’oeuvres and a delicious Mojito-like signature drink prepared by the resort, everyone hopped on board a catamaran and cruised up the shoreline toward Castries and enjoyed a sunset view of the island.
And that dear internet, is the story of Trisha and Scott’s awesome destination beach wedding in the Caribbean. I want to thank Trisha and Scott and their very wonderful family and friends for being so incredibly gracious and kind and fun. You guys are the people I’d want to be stranded on a deserted island with. Especially if there’s lots of Piton. (#biggrin.) And I hope Scott (the best man) made it through Customs in Miami (I’ll tell you that story later.. it’s a doozy). Happy Marriage to Trisha and Scott (the groom, this time), and I hope you guys have lots more adventures!
But don’t go away. I’ve still got more cool photos to show you. And there’s still another destination beach wedding left to photograph this year. Sweet, huh?
