“And I like large parties. They’re so intimate. At small parties there isn’t any privacy.”
– F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
Today I want to share these gorgeous highlights from Andy and Victor’s emotional and elegant roaring 1920’s Great Gatsby themed wedding. Although I’ve got to admit I’ve never read The Great Gatsby (yes, I’m a heathen), I’ve always loved Art Deco, and it was a thrill to see their vision come to life.
One of my favorite things that couples are choosing to do more often these days is getting ready together. It just makes everyone calmer, and it’s so beautiful. The photo of Victor kissing Andy’s neck while Andy adjusts his bowtie is a new favorite moment. And you know I’m always about the dogs, so when they told me they each had a polaroid of their dog in the inside pocket of their coat, I was smitten.
