Kayla and Cody: South Georgia Wedding
Yesterday was a very special day. It was the day that Kayla married Cody.
You may remember Kayla and Cody from their engagement session in Savannah a few months back. Meeting them was a wonderful treat, because they are the sweetest couple you will ever know. They are shy and quiet at first, but it doesn’t take long to notice how much love and respect they share for each other.
Yesterday, family and friends gathered to celebrate their commitment to each other in a beautiful evening outdoor wedding.
The decorations were festive and gorgeous.
And because we were outside in south Georgia….
The cake was stunning and smelled heavenly. It was hard to resist the temptation to sneak a taste while I was photographing it.
The flower girl was Kayla’s cousin, and a scene stealer. I may have as many photos of her as I do of the happy couple.

Cody is a volunteer fire fighter. I know, just when you think you can’t possibly like him more.
