Today I want to share a few of my favorite photos from my visit to Los Angeles last month to make some cozy lifestyle engagement photos with Emily and Tara.
One of the things I always try to do with every engagement session is capture the story of what and where your life is right now. For Emily and Tara, life is busy but really good. They have created an amazing life together with their three cats. They fill their time with work, studying, exploring the local food scene, traveling, and outdoor adventures like rock climbing.
Being around them leaves you feeling content and happy, like how you feel after a mellow day spent in the sunshine. Maybe that’s just a California thing, I don’t know. Further travel to the west coast is definitely called for to investigate.
We spent the afternoon together, first playing with the cats, and then visiting a local hiking trail. After the hiking turned out to be just a little too warm for our tastes, we headed to the coast and explored a couple of beaches. They were even brave enough to venture into the water to grab one cool slow exposure of the waves. Those west coast sunsets never get old.
