Wallenpaupack Creek Farm Wedding | Laurie and Stefania

Today I want to tell you the story of Laurie and Stefania’s gorgeous summer wedding on the banks of Wallenpaupack Creek at beautiful Wallenpaupack Creek Farm, and how I came to learn how to spell Wallenpaupack like a pro.

Laurie and Stefania met the old fashion way, by chance at a concert in Brooklyn. Two days later they went on their first date and it lasted from brunch until sundown. That was four years ago.

Sometime later, in another moment of serendipity, they discovered Wallenpaupack Creek Farm on their annual camping trip with friends. They loved it so much, they decided to get married there. And truly, it’s just gorgeous on the farm. I’ve definitely added it to my list of places to revisit on future trips.

You learn a lot about folks when you photograph their wedding. And one of the things that I learned about Laurie and Stefania is that they are really really amazing humans. They are so amazing that they inspired their family and friends to secretly conspire together to plan and execute a proper full-on flash mob right in the middle of their dance reception. Two people have never been more surprised. I’ve never been trapped in a flash mob before. It was awesome.
